Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose ( CMS )

LABRAN CMC has the functions of thickening, suspending, emulsifying, stabilising, shaping, filming, bulking, anti-corrosion, retaining freshness, acid-resisting, health protecting, etc. It can replace the application of guar gum, gelatin, agar, sodium alginate, and pectin, It is widely used in modern food industry, such as frozen food, solid drink, fruit juice, jam, lactic acid drinks, condiment, biscuit, instant noodles, bakery products, meat products, etc.

In the paper making industry, CMC is used to make the paint for coated paper, as additive in wet-end and sizing agent for surface. We have different paper making grades of CMC products to satisfy different customers requirements.

Application

- Food Industry:
- - - Thickener and Stabilizer: CMC is used as a thickening and stabilising agent in food products such as ice cream, yogurt, sauces, and dressings.
    - Bakery Products: It improves the texture and shelf life of baked goods by controlling moisture content and preventing stalling.
- Pharmaceuticals:
- - - Tablet Binder: CMC is used as a binder in pharmaceutical tablets, helping to hold the tablet ingredients together during compression.
    - Suspension Agent: It is employed in oral suspensions to prevent settling of solid particles.
- Cosmetics and Personal Care:
- - - Viscosity Modifier: CMC is added to cosmetic and personal care products, such as creams and lotions, to control viscosity and improve texture.
- Oil and Gas Industry:
